God Is The Supreme Planner---Trust Him.

Recently one of my students complained to me,"Sir, I have done post graduation with distinction but I am still unemployed. Duffers and "pappus"(grownups who still live off the name, fame and wealth of others.) are enjoying their lives as their "papas" are either well connected or moneybags." I agree. Corrupt, fools and goons are definitely getting cushy jobs on the basis of "sifarish". Even the premier of a very powerful nation is a moron. In the present arrangement, skilled and upright persons can be found doing odd and petty jobs to make their both ends meet. Quite natural that more and more honest and capable people are turning atheists. I, however, have a strong conviction that He is a meticulous planner. Everything goes as per His design, incomprehensible to us. Perhaps Lord Shiva has deliberately put the reins of the world in the hands of blockheads so as to decimate it and replace it with a new world based on truthfulness and righteo

We Aren't Separate From Each Other

As every human being consider itself to be disconnected, disparate from others, hatred, selfishness and jealously have taken deep roots in this world. The fact, however, is that if we thump the earth, the vibrations will be felt even by the stars. Everything, everybody is intricately interwoven with others. The earlier we understand this fact, the better it will be for us. I have suggested, in this composition, a way by which the denizens of this planet would certainly treat each other with respect, affection. Let me make this loud and clear. The world has become unlivable, my dear. Here each eye is a sea of tears. Every heart is full of fears. To make this world a better place. Paste a mirror on every face. Now one views a cute countenance. One can't abhor one's own appearance! ~Sanjay Gargish~

Don't Suppress Your Emotions

I believe that most of the modern diseases like depression, hypertension have their genesis in suppressed emotions. I have come to realize that one must declare one's love to one's beloved at all costs. This way one can surely live an anxiety free life and remain as light as a feather. "Woh mile ya na mile, hatthh toh badakar dekho." My first crush was a Russian aircraft engineer, when I was about 21 years old. She was deputed to give instructions to officers, at 3BRD Air Force Station, with regard to the repair and maintenance of MIG 21s-- Russian fighter aircrafts. We interacted a lot, jogged together. Unfortunately I was not able to reveal my fondness for her. As my friends want me to write something romantic, this composition of mine is for my long lost beautiful, sagacious Russian friend. By thinking about you day in, day out. Things have turned around, no doubt. A lover has changed into your devout! Secretly I fancy you, admire your visage nice. F

In Defense Of Creative Persons

Creative persons think differently. They refuse to cast themselves in the same dilapidated mould of the society and maintain their own "wazood". As a society likes pliable, lifeless "statues", writers are often derided, misunderstood and considered "dangerous creatures". My new composition is for all who have been suffering immensely at the hands of hoi polloi for not subscribing to their useless practices and stupid beliefs. Perspectives of my rivals no longer displease me. Droplets of water can't understand the mighty sea. Now I refuse to get offended by slanderous talk or jibe. Stones are pelted only at fruits grown mature and ripe. When I view the mirror, I feel reassured and fine. At least someone knows me, in this home of mine. ~Sanjay Gargish~

Why Marriages Are Losing Sheen?

Observing and mulling has led me to the conclusion that the institution of marriage, nowadays, is fastly becoming passe. What prompts a person to marry? A plethora of arguments have been forwarded by the votaries. "Marriage provides necessary support". Absolutely right. I have, however, gathered that the spouses, especially in the modern times, start expecting a lot and  make unreasonable demands upon each other. How can two beggars provide succour to each other?. Two unhappy, disgruntled souls can never forge a contented, heavenly  life. "Marriage fulfills the need for sexual gratification". I don't think this argument holds water in today's open and highly promiscuous society. According to an acquaintance of mine ," Marriage means producing children so that the family legacy can be passed on". As if he belongs to an illustrious aristocratic family and wants to hand over the reins of a vast empire to his children! I strongly believe th

My Complaint With The Creator

Brahmins are supposed to appease the God, sing hymns in His praise. This brahmin, however, is somewhat different. He believes in giving his piece of mind to the Creator. Well, this composition of mine is addressed to the Almighty. Your world, my Lord, has failed miserably. Why should I chant your name repeatedly. Here, the flatterers, frauds and crass. Form the society's "high-class". Life has become restless, lost the zest. Perhaps the ease is in the eternal rest. Whatever you do God, I will not be the complainer. A painting can never ever quarrel with the painter! ~Sanjay Gargish~

Lonely Life

A writer or a poet keenly observes the goings-on in the contemporary society and then portrays them in his writings. My new composition mirrors the life in cities, metropolitans, where one is, de facto, all alone. One has nothing to fall back upon. For a commoner, even आब़-ओ-दाना (water and food for survival) and आशिय़ाना (shelter) are hard to come by. False assurances galore, you see. Although we have many trusty friends and peers. When gloomy night looms, even our shadow disappears. In this city of beautiful,  Whom should I call my faithful. Everyone claimed to be my healer. Each one turned out a wound peeler. There's no discrimination, immense solace. Pub for me,  is a burial place. Here I bury my worries and pains. ~Sanjay Gargish~
