Today I went to a friend's house after a while, to inquire about his health. Always a gregarious & playful fellow, I was astonished to find him in a state of acute depression. His face has grown pale, his eyes have sunken. Barely able to speak, my widower friend mumbled, "Sharma ji, I have lost zest for life.' "What has happened to you dear?" I asked. "My only son got job in US last year leaving me alone here." he said with his gaze downwards. "If your son is happily employed in US and is unable to make frequent visits to India to meet you, then you should go there." "I went there but there's more loneliness out there.
