"Emptiness" Is More Valuable Than "Fullness".

Contrary to the popular opinion, I have come to the conclusion that "Emptiness" is more valuable than "Fullness".
I totally disagree with the western saying that an empty brain is the devil's workshop. I strongly believe that a brain at work, full of ideas, will only bring miseries, disasters.
The brain has produced ultra sophisticated weapons that can annihilate the whole creation within few minutes.
Infact, even the so called "good things" that have grown out of brain are ultimately useless, dangerous.
Air conditioners, fuel driven vehicles seemingly have made the human life comfortable. But these have caused innumerable lifestyle diseases, tremendously increased the global temperature, contributed towards the elimination of various medicinal plants and animal species.
It has now been conclusively proved that radiations from mobiles, electric bulbs, microwave ovens cause many deadly diseases including cancer.
Better medical facilities leading to decrease in death rate, higher expectancy of life, have caused excessive stress on the already depleting natural resources. One can see the acute water scarcity faced by many countries, some regions are on the brink of becoming deserts.
Trust me, any meddling with the workings of the Nature would only bring sorrows, harms.
A rich, "full" of money, can't sleep soundly, eat heartily.
Most of the corrupt businessmen, officials, politicians keep dogs. No, my dear, they are not canine lovers. The moneyed possess these ferocious beasts so as to keep the unwanted visitors - income tax officials - at bay!

On the other hand, an empty mind, bereft of stupid thoughts, becomes the abode of the Almighty. Trust me, a rudderless, "unoccupied" boat in the turbulent sea has more chances of reaching the shore safely, speedily than a "manned" ship!
After undergoing meditation for 49 days under the Bodhi tree, Gautama Buddha became enlightened. He was asked by a villager," What have you gained after so many days of meditation?"
Buddha smiled and said," I have not attained anything. Instead I have lost many a thing. I have become "empty" my dear. I have lost anger, lust, desire for material things and beings, greed, anxiety, ego."
