Reincarnation Is A Fact, Not A Fallacy
Apropos of my last post, my friends have raised some questions :
(a) What should be done so as to expedite the meeting of "atma" with "Parmatma"
(b) What is the guarantee that the "journey" will cease with the meeting
(c) Is there any proof of reincarnation
Well, if you remember, I have mentioned in one of my posts, the real purpose of meditation. With meditation, one can acquire some of the traits of the Supreme. I have encountered "yogis" who have become god like, through intense meditation.
It is quite easy to blend two pieces of gold. We can't marry gold with mud. Compatability is imperative for the effective and effortless merging to take place, my dear.
With regard to the second question, I would like to share an interesting fact. All the rivers babble and flow ceaselessly with one and the same objective--to merge with the serene sea. No brook or turbulent river can ever emerge out of the vast ocean! I hope you have got your answer.
I'm quite aware that no amount of words can convince anyone about the concept of metempsychosis. I therefore suggest you to gain insight on your own or under the guidance of a real spiritual master("Sadhguru").
Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Christianity and other major religions support the transmigration of soul. Our scriptures are replete with instances of rebirths. Exhaustive studies by medical sciences prove, with certitude, that reincarnation exists. It is recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib that our Dasham Guru, Guru Gobind Singhji did meditation on the tranquil and picturesque banks of Hemkund(Hemkunt Sahib) in Uttarakhand(India) in one of His "earlier births".
Dr. Mohan Agashye, noted psychiatrist and theatre personality, remained Director of the renowned National Institute Of Mental Health And Neuro Sciences(NIMHANS), Bangalore, an Indian Govt institute(Ministry Of Health). He, along with his team of specialists, scrutinized the rebirth cases and came to the conclusion that "reincarnation is an absolute truth. It is not a fallacy"
