Human Life

Human life has been extolled as "very precious" or "simply amazing" by many in their discourses and writings.
However for a layman who actually "lives" life, human life is nothing more than "gunahon ki sazaa".
I have written the following short composition from the perspective of the man on the street.

This desert is unending, unceasingly hot.
For how long a barefooted has to trot.

Even body and soul will eventually pull apart.
Griefs and agonies never ever leave the heart.

Undoubtedly it is a bad business anyway.
For few breaths, we sell a slice of life everyday.

Life is kind enough to impart invaluable lessons though sometimes in unkind ways. Jotting down my ruminations, life experiences for my loved ones so that they may live each and every moment fully.

Silent Lovers

Love is the most beautiful thing in this world. For me, it is only the golden chord of love that binds one with this otherwise ruthless world. Without love, life is simply meaningless. Just observe keenly the activities performed by an individual. You will be surprised to find that all the human activities are conducted to achieve only one objective --love. A person strives to become famous, skillful or wealthy because of the  subconscious desire to receive  love, affection and attention from his fellow beings, family members. True, Brave Sons Of The Soil

Feb14, 2019 would be remembered as a black day in the Indian history due to the cowardly attack by the terrorists on the convoy of our valiant CRPF personnel. My sincere, heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of martyrs. Very sadly I have been observing that apart from merely paying lip service, successive governments have done nothing worthwhile for the sentinels of our nation. Do you know that a trooper in the wilderness, in extreme temperatures earns less, has much less facilities, holidays and privileges than even a petty clerk in civil administration. Often food packets and other essentials have to be air dropped as our soldiers are stationed in most inaccessible regions for the protection of our Motherland. They remain vigilant 24X7, generally with obsolete weapons like carbines, so that we may sleep without fear, party with friends.
