Though one has to traverse this journey of life alone, loved ones help to diminish the pains and sufferings that one has to endure during the travels. Har koi pyaar dhoondta hai yahan. Apni tanhaa si zindagi ke liye. My new composition reflects the yearning of a "traveller". Autumn becomes Spring when you smile. From your eyes cascade the life-giving wine. No match for your radiance albeit countless stars shine. Be my companion...for some time. Expecting fidelity from this fleeting world is futile. Even a dead on bier swaps pallbearers many a time. For me, the most revered teachers in the contemporary world are Cremation Ground, Emergency Ward of the hospital and Preschool. Cremation ground illuminates how the persons walking perpendicular, proud of their power, wealth and beauty, lick the dust finally. They have to be brought horizontally. All the human beings, irrespective of their stature, become identical in the end --- ashes. The weight of the remnants, after the cremation, is nearly equal to the weight of the newly born child! If you think that you have the most profound and innumerable griefs, just take a round of the emergency ward or trauma center of a hospital. I bet you will forget about your so called sorrows when you see the patients and their family members in extremely pathetic condition. I have seen patients in great affliction, undergoing treatment for fairly long period, in the premier post graduate medical institute in Chandigarh. Love is the most beautiful thing in this world. For me, it is only the golden chord of love that binds one with this otherwise ruthless world. Without love, life is simply meaningless. Just observe keenly the activities performed by an individual. You will be surprised to find that all the human activities are conducted to achieve only one objective --love. A person strives to become famous, skillful or wealthy because of the  subconscious desire to receive  love, affection and attention from his fellow beings, family members. For a lover, however, it is really an uphill task to declare his love to his beloved. Words just elude! Maana ke mujhe haal-e-dil sunana nahin attaa. Tumhein bhi to andazaa lagana nahin attaa. Human life has been extolled as "very precious" or "simply amazing" by many in their discourses and writings. However for a layman who actually "lives" life, human life is nothing more than "gunahon ki sazaa". I have written the following short composition from the perspective of the man on the street. This desert is unending, unceasingly hot. For how long a barefooted has to trot. Even body and soul will eventually pull apart. Griefs and agonies never ever leave the heart. Life is kind enough to impart invaluable lessons, though sometimes in unkind ways. I try to clothe my ruminations, life-experiences in words so that "presentable" short compositions may emerge. Unruly winds potently dictate the direction of kite. Moneyed in mansions are often crooks, not angels. To brighten their houses, they steal even funeral candles. Apropos of my previous post, I have received a comment "You are unnecessarily criticizing the modern education. It has certainly increased the happiness, standard of living. Now majority of people have accessibility to all the amenities and ultra modern facilities". Well ma'am, I don't have even an iota of doubt that the contemporary educational system, giving nil or negligible importance to the cultivation of wisdom, is damaging not only the country but also the psyche of denizens. I think your whole notion about happiness is misplaced. I admit that today people have more lucre, modern gadgets. "Does this indicate that money alone bring happiness?" The answer is "NO". "Do you know why most of the astrologers have set up their shops in posh localities, not in slums?" In the name of education, we are disseminating only facts, information and stupidities to our children. "Does parroting out few facts imply being educated ?" I fail to visualize the rationale behind memorizing, for instance, the span of World War II, when every knowledge is now readily available at the click of the mouse. Educational System based primarily on "rote learning" is damaging the country immensely.Most of the students find it tedious, bunk off classes on flimsy excuses. Anti-social activities by the youth are on the rise. Question paper leaks and examination malpractices have become commonplace. Anybody having ability to retain some details stands good chance of becoming a civil servant. No wonder dimwitted, thick skinned "babus", lacking ingenuity, are in profusion. It is high time for the teachers to emphasize on "meaningful learning"  rather than "rote learning". Our nation already has copious "parrots...
